FORNICATION – THE HARM OF THE LIE
http://lyrics.rare-lyrics.com/T/Tim-McGraw/Drugs-Or-Jesus.html, “Drugs Or Jesus” lyrics by Tim McGraw:
Everyone's just looking for the truth
Not if they’re religious leaders.
When religious leaders ignore these sexual truths, they are allowing hate crime people, etc. to continue to hurt and/or condemn innocent people; therefore, just ignoring these sexual truths makes their religious voices equal in sin. Those of which who still support the hurting and condemnation of innocent people prove to God that they are really not a supporter of the true Jesus Christ: they are proving that they only care about their own personal sex-condemning agenda. Otherwise, it would be paramount that they overturn the past sexual Christian lies about the true definition of fornication, and the fact that Jesus Himself commanded against marriage in Matt. 19:10-12. When they try to base their sex-condemning on another Bible words, like “lust,” that just further proves their relentless pursuit to cover the truth (“fornication” has been the accepted basis for sexual condemnation for hundreds of years); nonetheless, see my Lust letter dated August 8, 2000 titled “Easily Brainwashed Society.”
http://www.answers.com/lie, lie, “Psychology of lying”:
Paradoxically, a Big Lie is often easier to get people to believe, and more difficult for them to challenge even when facts contradict it.
http://www.answers.com/big%20lie, big lie:
Repeated distortion of the truth on a grand scale
Today, churches traditional condemnation of sex out of marriage is the main reason for today’s growing number of atheists. When the church is still condemning something that’s becoming more and more secularly acceptable, more and more people will find unfair disapproval from “God.” As a result, more and more people with turn from the all-important church teaching of the Goldenrule.
Children’s stories:

My Big Lie, by Bill Cosby, 1999, no page numbers, Chapter Five:

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!, Miriam Cohen, 1985, no page numbers:

–I think that’s what the atheists are saying.
I also recommend reading A Big Fat Enormous Lie, by Marjorie Wienman Sharmat, 1978 …where a boy lies, and the lie become a monster that continually grows larger as time goes on. (I can’t scan the entire book.)
Apparently, learning to not lie is something that has to be taught.
I think the Catholics could learn something from their own literature:
How Catholics Live, Section 10: The Eighth Commandment: Truth, Catholic Information Service, Knights of Columbus, 2001, p. 5, “How Catholics live (morality) | TRUTH”:
(Note: The Ten Commandments of the Catholics are numbered different than the Protestants’.)

I’m sure saving face is still priority for Catholic leaders. – Themselves is number one; God is number two. Right? You bet I’m right.

Miscellaneous:
“It is always a God’s blessing, lad, when a man masters the worst of himself … It doesn’t much matter what others think of you. It is what one can honestly think of one’s self that matters.” –Chapter 24, 21st paragraph, The Shepherd of the Hills, by Harold Bell Wright, 1907.
Proverbs 23:23 (KJV):
Buy the truth, and sell it not
You can tell a tiger by its stripes:
Today’s “Christians” will say that mine is not of God; but, how can that be when mine is of truth and honesty?
