NEVER HURT AN “INNOCENT” PERSON
The most important of all issues
Specifically, the base definition of a retributive sin is: Any intentional (direct or indirect) hurting of an “innocent” person. An “innocent” person is a person who has not hurt an “innocent” person (per the perpetrator’s cause of offense). So it’s “perfect.” But, this is far from priority Church teachings, and is apparently very difficult to understand in today’s world of embedded favoritism, excuses, and limitations of secular justice. But, the facts are stable: You are never justified in hurting an innocent person. Anything else will never “sell”: the day will never come when innocent people will begin to believe that you are justified for hurting them, regardless of how evil their leaders, etc. are. No one will ever be able to describe a better “answer.” This realistic ethical teaching seems to be available for the taking, so I’m taking it. I would be derelict in the eyes of God if I didn’t.
Plus, for the benefit and survival of this world, that is the only kind of sin which, in fairness, justifies an / any equitable afterlife punishment, which Christ assures us there will be (Matt. 5:1,23-26); which, is the only thing that needs “faith” – it’s that simple: everything else will eventually show its validity. Jesus further states that restitution to the actual victim is the only way to avoid “assured” afterlife punishment for the particular wrong. Now, there’s a lot of “what ifs” and “what abouts” explained later, but this is the basic element of what the world needs to know for now.
The Goldenrule is Never Hurting an “Innocent” Person and extends to “doing good deeds” for others.
All other “sins” are just good advice: there has to be an “innocent” victim for it to be a “retributive” sin.
