GUARANTEED SALVATION FROM JESUS CHRIST 9-9-99
PREACHER: |
You must fully believe in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation! |
SINNER: |
Okay – so what do I have to do? |
PREACHER: |
You must know and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible. |
SINNER: |
Okay, what’s It say? |
PREACHER: |
It says that you have to change and not sin … |
SINNER: |
Okay, but what about my past sins? |
PREACHER: |
Jesus’ orders are to “reconcile” personally with the victims of your past sins –Matthew 5:23,24. |
SINNER: |
You mean that I must do this to follow Jesus? |
PREACHER: |
Yes, you must follow Jesus’ instructions to have salvation from your past sins. If you do not reconcile personally with the victims of your sins then you are rejecting Christ. |
SINNER: |
Well I don't know about that … what if a victim of one of my past sins can't be located or is deceased? |
PREACHER: |
That’s why Jesus forewarns in verse 25 that you should do it “quickly,” or you will be convicted and penalized. |
SINNER: |
What do you mean – a lot of people sin and are never convicted and penalized, and live a long life, and many with much wealth? |
PREACHER: |
This penalty will occur in your afterlife. |
SINNER: |
Oh, I don't want to listen to you anymore preacher. I can go to any of the many other churches that won’t tell me what I don't want to hear. And those are the ones that will get my tithings. Besides, He was just wanting His disciples to do that – He is not telling us to do that today! |
PREACHER: |
That’s like saying that the Ten Commandments only applies to the Ancient Hebrews. And, Jesus decreed this to “the multitudes” at His famous “Sermon on the Mount,” not just His disciples. No, Jesus’ teachings applies to everybody, all the time, and it applies Christian or not. |
SINNER: |
Well if I wasn’t a Christian how would I be able to know to “reconcile” with the victims of my past sins? |
PREACHER: |
No one, at any time, anywhere in the world, has truly and fully repented of their past sins if they have not desired and taken it upon themselves to personally reconcile and give full restitution to all who they have sinned against, without anybody, or any book, having to tell them to. But with the love of Jesus, YOU are lucky enough to have had Him tell you in the Bible, in advance; so even YOU can now easily know how to be saved from afterlife punishment, but only if you follow His instructions. Anybody that preaches otherwise is ignoring this passage, just because they seek their own desires. Contrary to what you (and many other people) want to believe, God does have fair considerations for the “other” people of this world, other than yourself. |
SINNER: |
Does “going to Hell forever” sound “fair” just because I’m not able to locate and reconcile with all the victims of my sins? |
PREACHER: |
Nobody will go to Hell forever; because verse 26 says that “you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny,” indicating that you will eventually “get out of there,” but only after you have suffered equally (to “the last penny”). |
SINNER: |
If every person was adamantly taught, from infancy, that they are going to have to equally pay for their sins one way or the other (to “the last penny”), with no easy way out, nobody would ever sin again, because the price for each sin would be too high. Do you really believe that this is what God wants? |
PREACHER: |
Yes – because, nothing else would ever be able to stop sin. |

ADDENDUM (which was not part of original publication):
It is written:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who DOES the will of My Father in heaven. MANY will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” –Matthew 7:21-23
“Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and TEACHES men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and TEACHES them, he/she shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” –Matthew 5:19
